The main field of my scientific activity is low-dimensional topology. In particular, I am interested in the theory of branched coverings, as a tool for representing manifolds and studying various topological and geometric structures on them. I am also interested in computational applications of topology and geometry, specially the ones concerning spatial modelling, image processing, computer graphics and artificial vision. |

My teaching activity takes place in the Classes of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Camerino. In the current academic year I teach the following undergraduate courses: Geometry 2, Advanced Geometry, Knot Theory and Applied Topology. Moreover, I supervise students working on their degree theses, of both theoretical and applicative character. The following link contains a list of theses I assigned. All the pages regarding teaching are in Italian. |
